Got rid of these lines by making sure to use my rocket blower on the 3 little holes on the film holder. This sensor is used for both the flatbed scan and the automatic document feeder (ADF), the difference is where the sensor is moved to for scanning.

HOWEVER the scans before and after this series do not have the line. Steve you look at these three images, (untoned) it is in every photo in the same spot.

Has anyone else has this issue and solved it? I've clean the scanner with a soft cloth, I looked to see if I had the latest software and evidently I do. I have tried EVERYTHING to get rid of it. It's not on every scan, but occasional scans.
